We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Sales Admin Assistant to support both our sales team and our network of independent and captive agencies. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the department by providing essential administrative and clerical support.
The District Manager leads recruiting, developing, and managing a high‑performing team of captive P&C agents, driving market growth and strong agency performance. The role provides hands‑on coaching, business planning guidance, and operational oversight while ensuring compliance and long‑term profitability across the district.
Responsible for generating profitable new farm business, partnering with Independent Agents, conducting on‑site farm reviews, and making underwriting decisions. Monitors the book of business to reduce losses and builds relationships with policyholders. This remote role covers South Dakota or Nebraska and requires residing in one of those states.
Manages approximately $37M MPCI and Crop/Hail Insurance portfolio and develops further growth opportunities. Works with AFBIS, captive and independent agents to develop tools and programs to support future growth. Works with internal actuarial staff to identify trends, monitor results and manage fund designations. Finally, assists AFBIS in identifying training and education opportunities with both captive and independent agents.
