Are the internships paid?

Yes. All our internships are paid.

What departments have internships?

We have had interns in Sales, Marketing, Claims, and Actuary. However, we are open to having interns in other departments. Please inquire.

Can students do an internship after they have graduated?

No. Interns must be enrolled in college.

How does the hiring process work?

Each application is reviewed against the requirements of the position. Applicants whose background meets the requirements will be invited to interview. After all qualified applicants have been interviewed, Nodak Insurance extends an offer to the strongest candidate for the internship.

Is it possible for someone to apply to more than one internship?

Yes. Individuals can submit applications to multiple internships.

Can you receive college credits through Nodak's internships?

Yes. You can receive up to 3 college credits.

As an intern for Nodak Insurance, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Actuary career field. During my internship, I acquired valuable knowledge that goes beyond what can be learned in the classroom, and these lifelong skills will accompany me into my future. I thoroughly enjoyed my time amongst Nodak's friendly and supportive work environment, and am thankful for the opportunity Nodak Insurance provided me.
